Underwater photography

Photographs taken while underwater. It is usually done while scuba diving, snorkeling or swimming. Needs special equipment.

Underwater photography is often a very challenging form of photography which demands a lot from the photographer. It requires highly specialized equipment and techniques and therefore is not within the reach of most photographers

To take underwater scenes, one either gets a amphibious/waterproof camera or enclose the conventional digital or traditional camera into a watertight underwater housing.
